Luxe Organix AHA BHA miracle solutions; what you need to know

Spread the love

Luxe Organix products has been my go to when it comes to skin care ever since I have tried the aloe vera products and achieved positive results. I have been wanting to try out other products from the brand to see what else it has to offer.

What I really want to try out is a product which can minimize my pores and reduce pimple marks and bumps. I do have visible pores and some scars from previous break outs whenever I have my period.

I searched which Luxe Organix product can help me achieve the benefits I want and I came across this AHA/BHA miracle solutions line.

What is AHA/BHA?

AHA and BHA are both types of hydorxy acid. Main purpose of both is to exfoliate skin, the difference is that AHA is water soluble while BHA is oil soluble. BHA is what goes deeper into the pores to remove dead skin cells and excess sebum.

This line  focuses on reducing acne, bumps, blackheads and clogged pores while lifting away red discoloration and scarring left from blemishes. Both cleanser and toner are made with three gentle exfoliation agents: salicylic acid, lactic acid and glycolic acid.

What are the benefits of these key ingredients?

Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid known to reduce acne by exfoliating skin and keeping pores clean. It helps the skin shed dead cells and prevent acne break-outs.

Lactic acid is typically used to cure hyper pigmentation, age spots and skin problems related to dullness and uneven complexion. It can improve skin tone and reduce pore appearance. It can also reduce appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. This acid helps loosen the bonds of the dead skin cells.

Glycolic acid helps give skin a smoother look for a more youthful appearance. Once skin cells are separated by the lactid acid, glycolic acid helps dissolve the layer of the dead skin. This, in turn helps to gently exfoliate, while unclogging pores and revealing new skin.

Other added ingredients are tea tree and niacinamide. Tea tree has anti- inflammatory and anti-microbial properties which helps treat acne. It calms the redness, swelling and inflammation. Niacinamide on the other hand is a type of vitamin B3. It acts as an effective skin restoring ingredient that improves the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone and fine lines, leaving the skin bright and young looking.

Luxe Organix Miracle solutions AHA/BHA gel cleanser

The cleanser has a semi-rich formula and gel like consistency which leaves the skin smooth and feeling moisturized. It doesn’t have that squeaky clean feeling which for me is fine because it doesn’t dry my face too much.

Luxe Organix Miracle Toner AHA/BHA Pore Clarifying Treatment

The toner has water like formula which is very lightweight and has no stingy feeling. You can apply it using cotton pads but I prefer to apply it with clean hands and gently tap it on my face for faster absorption.

My experience

Having said all the benefits of each ingredient in this miracle solution line, it is not guaranteed that you will achieve all of it. I would say result will vary depending on your current skin condition, skin type and skin sensitivity. My only goal is to minimize my pores but unfortunately it doesn’t worked the way I expected.

Before I started using this miracle solutions, I don’t have active acne. My skin was actually clear except for the pimple marks.

Slow progress

I’ve been using these products for 3 weeks now and honestly I am not seeing any positive result yet. I have experienced purging starting from the 3rd day of use. It started with small bumps in my forehead and in my nose. At first I thought, it was just because of my hormonal imbalance since I have my period so I just continued using it. Just this week, I noticed new cystic-like acne in my cheeks and I am really not happy with it.

That’s when I decided to watch Youtube reviews about the product. I thought it was just me, surprisingly, almost all reviews says the same.

This review does not intend to discredit the claims of these products, rather to warn you guys to be more careful when trying out new skin care products. Most likely I will continue to use it to prove if this is just a purging phase and that something really good is coming. Maybe I do have clogged pores and this is the best way to clean it out.

I just hope they will release a starter kit, like mini sized packaging so you guys can test out the products first. As it is now, 150ml packaging means you will waste most of it if you discontinue use.

Follow our blog and watch out for part 2 with hopefully better results. Thanks for reading!
