Nawawalang Paraiso Resort and Hotel Review
The weather was perfect when we went to Quezon province for a weekend getaway. My brother, finally came home from Dubai for a short vacation and would like to go out of town. We had difficulties finding a safe place to spend our time together due to Ncov outbreak and Taal eruption. After so many plans, we decided to visit some of the attractions in Province of Quezon. An overnight stay at Nawawalang Paraiso Resort and Hotel Tayabas Quezon, hear mass at Kamay ni Hesus Lucban, Quezon and lunch at Fisher’s Lake, Kamayan sa Palaisdaan also in Tayabas, Quezon.
We feel so relieved that Nawawalang Paraiso Resort and Hotel or “lost paradise” if you were to translate the name of the resort can still accommodate us a week before our travel. I vividly recalled that I already went there with my brother when we were little. What I can distinctly remember is that the pool water was super cold. It didn’t change. It’s freezing. The place was well maintained despite the fact that it was established since 1985. And we noticed Phase I and Phase II expansions. There were buildings still under construction.
Nawawalang Paraiso Villa Beatriz
For headcount of 15 persons, we booked for only Php 9800 for overnight stay at Villa Beatriz. It has two air-conditioned rooms, one ventilated room, three comfort rooms and two shower rooms with hot and cold water. It’s a whole house with living room, dining room and veranda.
The villa, I think, is part of the expansion as it’s good as new. The kitchen was complete with rice cooker, oven, personal ref and dining utensils (one small thing, dining utensils needs replacement). You can bring cooked food with no corkage fee. They do not allow cooking even grilling since they have a restaurant inside.
We were discussing how affordable it was and were not expecting anything considering the rate but wow! It was sparkling clean, the white sheets smelled so good and they provided clean towels with soap and shampoo for all of us. The kids loved the double deck beds, connecting rooms and veranda. There were TVs with cable at living room and master’s bedroom.
Nawawalang Paraiso Phase I and Phase II
The kids were complaining as the resort do not have Wi-Fi except at the lobby. I want it that way. So they spent most of the time swimming and playing at the park. Bringing so many kids, it’s a good thing they have life guards. My four-year old niece suddenly ran to the six feet deep pool and they safely brought her back to us. Thank goodness!
Phase I has two swimming pools including the kiddie pool. Villas, restaurant and cottages are also at Phase I. The park, another swimming pool, hotel, lobby and function hall are at Phase II. We didn’t try the restaurant because we brought a lot of food. We also planned to eat together at Kamayan sa Palaisdaan.
I think the pool for kids needs a little upgrade like a mini-slide or water fountain. We just did water games to have fun. I would also appreciate a jacuzzi or hot spring or warm pool water because the weather changed late in the afternoon. The cool breeze made us shiver and it was actually raining the next morning. Nevertheless, the resort was perfect for a laid back weekend and family stay cation.
Nawawalang Paraiso Resort and Hotel claims that it can provide its guests relaxing and splendid accommodations. Cottages, Cabana Rooms, Hotel Rooms, Suites and Dormitories are available. Its pools are blessed with fresh, virgin, and free-flowing mineral water devoid of any harmful chemicals.
I totally agree! If you’re visiting Province of Quezon, I definitely recommend Nawawalang Paraiso Resort and Hotel! You cannot get this rate compared to other resorts and hotels in the area! Get such good value for your money!
