Stay-cation : Crosswinds Swiss Luxury Resort
In today’s lifestyle, going somewhere outside the city after a busy or stressful week to relax and recharge for a short getaway is famously known as “Stay-cation”. The term became popular among busy and career oriented individuals who are looking for a place to chill out. One of the common activities is to spend quality time and relax with your family or friends through a stress free stay-cation. Stay-cation can be a way to achieve your well deserved rest.
If you dream of going out or staying somewhere in Tagaytay, I would recommend Crosswind Swiss Luxury resort. It is a perfect place for stay-cation. The Swiss chalets, crisp pine scents and picturesque surroundings makes you feel that you are transported to Switzerland. Crosswind is your perfect sanctuary to escape the stress and hassle of the modern world.
Alpine luxury and Swiss vibe is what Crosswind Resort is famous at. Tucked in the foothills of the 100 hectare leisure community in Tagaytay. This Eco friendly resort, offers a spectacular view, romantic ambiance, crisp breeze and great outdoors. The serenity of the place is really breathtaking and a superb haven for people looking for recreation.
Crosswind Swiss Luxury Resort takes pride of providing a luxury yet reasonable hotel accommodation.
We booked a one bed room suite which is best for two with a maximum capacity of up to four persons. The room is cozy with classy furnishing and interiors, it is a very spacious suite.
In Room Amenities
Our bed room suite has LCD Television set with cable channels, complimentary WIFI, refrigerator and a mini bar with complimentary bottled water. There’s a small dining area and a kitchenette with cooking equipment and utensils. The en suite toilet and bath has hot and cold shower complete with toiletries and in room safe. Guest can bring and cook their own food without any corkage, they do not have in room service and restaurant as it is still a work in progress.
We decided to have early breakfast so that we would have enough time to explore the place. Breakfast buffet was right across our hotel building. It offers basic Pinoy dishes such as adobo, salted egg, dangit, fish fillet, corned beef and scrambled eggs which is best paired with brewed coffee. I’m glad that they also served arroz caldo, it was delicious and a real comfort food. For the kids they have assorted cereals and breads with jams, like wise you can also indulge on fresh fruits.
They have a vibrant swimming pool, despite the cool breeze the water was inviting. You can take a dip amid the tall pine trees and lush mountain view as backdrop. My son was ecstatic to swim, but after an hour he was already chilling. I had to quickly dry him and sun bathe him to warm up.
The pool is exclusive for Crosswinds in-house guest and residents. Down side of the pool area is that the shower rooms are not functioning due to insufficient water supply. You have to go back to your hotel room to shower and change.
In addition the children’s playroom is just adjacent to the pool. My kids had fun and enjoyed the playground, they have several slides, seesaws and monkey bars. The wide open space also makes a great play area for kids who love to explore the great outdoors. There was also a Christmas Store and Santa House however it was closed and opens only during the Christmas Season.
There is something about nature that relaxes you and makes you enjoy life in the simplest way you can. At Crosswind you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. Every spot in the vicinity are picture perfect.
We only stayed for a night and will definitely go back hopefully in December so we can see the Christmas Village. Kudos as well to the staff for the excellent customer service.
